Port Aransas continues to host visitors this weekend for the Harvest Moon Regatta. What is that, you say? The 33rd annual Harvest Moon Regatta is a sailboat race that starts in Galveston, Texas on Thursday, October 10th and ends in Port Aransas on Saturday October 13. After all the boats dock, there is an awards ceremony held on Saturday at Robert's Point Park in Port Aransas. Proceeds from the Harvest Moon Regatta will benefit the Bay Access Sailing Foundation, a charitable organization that promotes youth and adult amateur sailing on Galveston Bay and Clear Lake through sailing training, organization of regattas, boating classes and much more.
