Heidi Cluck

Born and raised in the hustle and bustle of the Dallas Ft. Worth area, my life took an unexpected turn when I ventured to Boerne, TX. In Boerne I forged a fast friendship with a fellow running enthusiast. Little did I know her invitation to explore the beaches in the Coastal Bend would ignite a passion for coastal living.Discovering the beaches of Texas was a revelation. Weekend trips to the coast became a ritual. From learning to ride the waves to forming connections with fellow beachgoers, those early days paved the way for a profound love of the coastal lifestyle. By 1988, armed with savings from my tenure at Tapatio Springs Country Club, I moved to the Island.

While studying at Del Mar College, I found myself immersed in the allure of South Texas. Fishing, hunting, golf and other outdoor adventures changed my perspective on life. My dedication to the coastal community led me to become a founding board member of the Saltwater Fisheries Enhancement Association, a member of the Port Aransas Boatmen’s Association, an Auction Chairman for the Deep-Sea Roundup in 2013, a certified Observer for the International Game Fishing Association and lifetime member of the Billfish Foundation. My life in Port Aransas and Padre Island was constantly evolving. From entrepreneurial ventures owning three island businesses, I became immersed in the heartbeat of the Islands.

In 2000, I purchased my home on the Island, a move that proved to be a wise investment and a sanctuary for raising my daughter, Fischer. Raising Fischer amidst the coastal backdrop was a source of pride and joy. From hunting and fishing to beach volleyball and surfing, her upbringing stood in stark contrast to my childhood in North Texas. As she embarks on her life’s journey, I find solace in splitting my time at the shores of Port Aransas and Padre, the waters of Baffin Bay, the occasional Sunday golf game and impromptu hunting excursions.

Transitioning into the oilfield and gas industry in 2008 broadened my horizons, but real estate is my home. With several years of experience, I am excited to leverage my intimate knowledge of Port Aransas and Padre Island to help others find their perfect coastal home.
