While we are all being affected in some way by the Coronavirus, our agents have found time to volunteer and help the Port Aransas community.
Michele Lorette has been volunteering for 10 years for various organizations. “I did meals on wheels for ten years. I took a break about 6 months ago, and am helping now with the Food Pantry because of the need. Great group of people that run the Pantry!” say Michele. In some ways, the virus has brought people together, while we are all staying apart.
The Helping Hands food pantry is opened for all residents of Port Aransas every Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Social distancing is being practiced and distribution of the goods is taking place outside in the parking lot behind the Presbyterian church on 113 S.…
